About our Librarian
Ms. Marone was born and raised in Latah County, and has lived there most of her life. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the College of Idaho and her Master of Arts degree from the University of Idaho, also in English Literature. Her teaching endorsements include secondary English and History, and K-12 Library Media, and in 2005 she earned certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in the field of Library/Media.
Ms. Marone and her husband, Rich, live in Troy, Idaho. They like to drive on road trips and have visited 43 of the 50 states. They have three sons: Erik, Paul, and John, and a grandson, Jackson. When she's not at school, Ms. Marone likes to spend time making quilts, kayaking, going for walks and bicycle rides, and learning to tap dance. Oh, and she also spends quite a bit of time reading--of course!
You can reach Ms. Marone by phone at the Genesee School, 208-285-1162, Extension 232, or by e-mail at lmarone@sd282.org.
