Account Balances
Beginning with the 2009-2010 school year, the Genesee School District Cafeteria will begin using a new cashier system that is integrated with the district's new Lumen WeBSIS Student Information System. This system will allow parents and students to login to a "portal" webpage and view cafeteria account balances and purchase histories. We hope that this will reduce costs through the reduction of paper expenses as well as the time involved to print and distribute account balance notices each day. Portal login information will be provided as soon as it is available.
Free and Reduced
The Genesee School District is a participating member of the National School Lunch Program. The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day. The program was established under the National School Lunch Act, signed by President Harry Truman in 1946.
To receive free or reduced price meals for your child, you must complete an application and return it to the school.
